Rökbacken BBQ is a smoke house hole in the wall smack boom in the middle of Falun, Dalarna. We take inspiration and motivation from where we find it and do not relate to anything but ourselves. 

We want to be a place with a low threshold where you can come and hang out, eat and drink. Our concept is preferably in the direction of street food with influences from both American and Mexican cuisine.

Do you want to be outdoors but think it's just too cold? Then we have a solution for you! Visit Bistro Le Parc to play boules in an environment created to give an outdoor feel. Do you think there is a pensioner warning at Boule? No danger, you can drink well and even play shuffleboard.

Craving a simpler dinner in a cool world heritage setting? It may be a bit small, but there's plenty of standing room at the bar, where you'll find beer brewed wall to wall. The menu is small but very tasty and you can get full, even on a student budget. When it's warm enough, the outdoor seating opens, which is downright magical. If you're lucky, there will also be live music!

 Falun is a city full of restaurants and there are lots of nice and good restaurants, make sure to visit as many as you can! A tip is to follow "Centrala stadsrum" to get the latest information about "Taste Falun". It is a concept where you buy one or more booklets with coupons that are exchanged during the event for tasting portions at the participating restaurants that you choose to visit. A good way to try many different restaurants, albeit on a smaller budget.

Fancy a trip to Italy, but the travel budget isn't what it should be? Don't worry! In Falun (and Borlänge) there is the Instagram-friendly restaurant Basta. And what do we mean by Instagram friendly? The owner is an architect and works to ensure that interior design and lighting are as photo-friendly as possible. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious! Bon Appetit!

For those who like to dance, you can find a dance floor at the far end of O'learys. But that's not the only thing that O'learys in Falun has to offer. Here you can also play shuffleboard and keep track of their events. On certain Sundays, famous Swedish comedians usually take the stage.
