About us
We are a collaborative group consisting of: Dalarna University, Dalarna Student Union, Borlänge Municipality, Falu Municipality, Kopparstaden, Tunabyggen, Region Dalarna, Dalarna Science Park.
History
In 2017, there was a housing crisis for students in Falun and Borlänge municipality. To handle the crisis, a working group consisting of representatives from the Dalarna Student Union, Dalarna University, Kopparstaden AB and AB Stora Tunabyggen was appointed. Cooperation was the key out of the crisis and Studentdalarna.se was created as part of the solution. Since 2020, Falun and Borlänge have been listed as green in the SFS housing report.
Through collaboration, more development areas were identified and more collaboration parties have joined the group, including Falun and Borlänge municipality, which today, together with the corps, is part of the core activities of Student Dalarna.
Today we work with the focus areas Study life and Working life on the Housing side. We are now working with the process Before, during and after the studies so that your time at Dalarna University and in Dalarna as a region will be as good as possible!
